KUMON ASF AWARDING 2019
Every year, Payatas Orione Foundation, Inc. (PAOFI) produces scholars who excel in
Mathematics thru the help and partnership with Kumon Philippines.
This year, three (3) scholars from Kumon Payatas Center under PAOFI Scholarship
Program were recognized at the Kumon Advanced Students’ Forum 2019 for
completing the Kumon Math program. The said event was held to give award and
recognition to Kumon completers and 5 year-advance students. ASF 2019 was held last
November 09, 2019 at the Manila Marriot Hotel, Pasay City.
The three (3) awardees namely, Patricia Que, Antonith Rañin, and Rudina Mae Soriano
were accompanied by their parents and Kumon teachers as they receive the award and
plaque of recognition.
This has been a wonderful day of celebration for the three Kumon completers. After
years of perseverance and hard work in the Kumon Math Tutorial Program, they
successfully completed it. The plaque awarded to them symbolizes the fruitful efforts
they have given to finish the program. It also reflects their amazing dedication towards
excellence. It is a great example of how their determination helps them in achieving
wisdom in Mathematics despite of all the odds they have faced.
The scholars promised that they will also impart the knowledge that they have gained
from Kumon Math Tutorial Program to the other younger scholars.
We look forward for more Kumon completers and advance students with the continuous
support and partnership with Kumon Philippines Inc.
KUMON and Payatas Orione Foundation Inc. (PAOFI)
In the Philippines, one of the most common fearful subjects for students is Mathematics.
This fear hinders them from excelling and getting good grades in class. This is also the
same issue with the scholars of PAOFI years back until Kumon Philippines came in.
Kumon and PAOFI’s partnership aim to help the scholars gain excellence in the field of
Mathematics. They were given free tutorials which includes advance lessons to solve
various math problems and equations accurately. The Kumon Math Tutorial Program
gives them confidence and additional knowledge which really helps them in conquering
their most feared subject in school.
The partnership began years ago and it already produced a lot of Kumon Completer
scholars. The Kumon Math Tutorial Program also helps them in their academics. The
PAOFI scholars who took the KUMON Program were recognized as one of the most
promising and excellent students in their respective schools and universities.
With the same vision of helping the scholars grow and develop their academic skills
especially in Mathematics, PAOFI is looking forward for more years of partnership with
Kumon Philippines and to produce more Kumon Math completers and advance
students.
